Eight DWG files cover ABB, CHINT, Hyundai, LS, Mitsubishi, Schneider, Shihlin and current transformers. Anyone can read the list; sign in to a free EleRun account to reveal the Google Drive download links.
1. Eight CAD collections in one place
When preparing a panel layout, finding an appropriate device drawing can take longer than placing it. Each manufacturer hosts files differently, and product names are not always easy to search.
We've grouped the available DWG files into eight collections. Check the names below, choose the brand you need and download the relevant file without starting a fresh search every time.
Each file is a reference collection named after a brand or equipment type. Contents may vary, so open the DWG and verify the exact part number and dimensions before using it for production.
- ABB CAD.dwg
- Current transformer CAD.dwg
- Chint CAD.dwg
- Hyundai CAD.dwg
- LS CAD.dwg
- Mitsubishi CAD.dwg
- Schneider CAD.dwg
- Shihlin CAD.dwg
2. Download the free CAD library
The collections are hosted on Google Drive so you can open the files you need individually. There is no charge and you do not need to upgrade your EleRun plan.
Simply sign in to EleRun. Once authenticated, eight file buttons will appear below with the matching DWG filenames. New users can create a free account.
Each link opens Google Drive. If Drive asks for access, check the file permissions or let EleRun know so the sharing settings can be reviewed.

3. What can you do with the downloaded files?
Open a file in AutoCAD or another DWG-compatible program, find a suitable drawing or block, and place it in your panel layout. You only need the elements relevant to your project.
Before using any drawing in a deliverable, verify the part number, drawing units and scale, and the equipment dimensions against the manufacturer's latest catalogue.
CAD blocks save time drawing equipment outlines, but they do not replace manufacturer-approved dimensional documents. This is especially important before releasing mechanical fabrication drawings.
- Open the DWG collection for the required manufacturer or equipment group.
- Find the exact device and check the drawing units, scale and dimensions.
- Copy the relevant geometry or block into your panel layout.
- Verify dimensions against the latest manufacturer catalogue before fabrication.
4. Use CAD for panel layouts and EleRun for circuit behavior
These are complementary jobs. CAD helps you arrange devices and document mechanical layouts. But if you want to see which contactor energizes when START is pressed, how a timer behaves or whether STOP releases a coil, you need a control-circuit simulation.
EleRun lets you place control symbols, wire terminals and operate a circuit in your browser. The Start–Stop example in our guide is a working interactive drawing, not just a screenshot.
The DWG files in this article are separate downloads. They are not an importable EleRun symbol pack, and they do not replace EleRun's drawing and simulation tools.
5. A quick check before using CAD in a real project
Manufacturer names are used to organize the files. They do not guarantee an official, complete or up-to-date library from the manufacturer. Device outlines and dimensions can change between product revisions.
Respect each source's intellectual property and redistribution terms. Verify the original licensing conditions before using the material commercially or passing it on.
If a file will not open, seems mislabeled or you would like another manufacturer's collection added, please send feedback so the list can be improved.
6. Frequently asked questions
Is the CAD library really free?
Yes. The eight DWG files in this list are shared free of charge. An EleRun account is required only to reveal the file links.
Why do I need to sign in to see the links?
The article and file list remain public. Google Drive links are shown only to signed-in EleRun users so resource sharing can be managed.
What software can open these files?
You can use AutoCAD or another CAD tool that supports DWG. Check file version compatibility if your program cannot open one.
Can I use these drawings for panel fabrication immediately?
Treat them as starting references. Confirm the part number, dimensions, scale and current manufacturer data before production.
